people have their "moments" in their life right? it can be as significant like winning a gold medal in the winter olympics (yes im talking about kim yu-na) or as ordinary like remembering to brush your teeth at night (some people would know what i mean haha). anyways my "moments" tend to be made up of minor coincidental events, almost trivial. things that people might go "seriously who cares" and "what's so special about that." well, i find them amusing so i keep a record of coincidental incidents that happen in my life. here are some:
- i caught myself glancing at the digital clock right when it was 11:11 (happened to me couple times actually)
- on 2/25 at 2:25pm i cashed out $25 out from drawer #2 (i work at a ticketing office)
- my co-worker was doing crossword puzzles and the word was "evergreen" which happened to be the patron's name i was searching for at work.
- i went to my friend's cello concert... that night my roommate played the movie "the soloist" and the same exact song was playing
- for 3 consecutive times, someone was coming out right as i was swiping my card to get inside the dorm entrance (one guy actually screamed like a girl which scared me more than the sudden opening of the door)
- i dreamt that my close friend at lehigh got into dental school at UPenn. two weeks later, he found out he got admitted to UPenn's dental school - the first to hear back from the many he applied to. am i a psychic or what...
there's a lot more to this list and i'm sure there's more to come. like i said, these happen in a span of few seconds and yet the impact is big enough that i take time to reflect in awe. it really doesn't take much to amuse me and it may be the reason why i can be so easily content with the things i have and the situations i'm in. i don't know if that's a good or bad thing but whatever it is, it does make me think that life is always good :)
